Middelheim Museum, Outdoor sculpture museum in Nachtegalen Park, Belgium
Middelheim Museum is a sculpture collection spread across about 30 hectares (75 acres) of parkland, where roughly 400 works by international artists are distributed among trees and pathways. The site began as a manor estate with medieval roots before transforming into a public art space in the 20th century. Its conversion into a dedicated sculpture museum in the 1950s established it as a major venue for displaying contemporary and modern art.
