Aquatopia, Public aquarium at Koningin Astridplein, Antwerp, Belgium.
The facility contained multiple tanks across different floors, displaying over 4,000 marine creatures representing 100 species in recreated natural environments.
Opening its doors on October 1, 2003, Aquatopia operated until January 8, 2017, when declining visitor numbers led to its permanent closure.
During its operation period, Aquatopia served as an educational center where visitors learned about marine conservation and aquatic ecosystems.
Located opposite Antwerp Central Station, the aquarium maintained regular hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and accepted credit card payments.
The facility contained the largest shark tank in Belgium and maintained one million liters of water throughout its various display sections.
