Sint-Odulfuskerk, Gothic church building in Borgloon, Belgium
The Sint-Odulfuskerk stands in the heart of Borgloon with a 46-meter Gothic tower made of marl sandstone on a bluestone foundation.
The church foundation dates to 1131, followed by the addition of the Gothic tower in 1406 and extensive reconstruction work in 1838.
The interior contains a 14th-century crucifix, Gothic oak statues, and choir stalls from the 17th century featuring 27 chairs with carved masks.
The church offers guided tours lasting 90 minutes for groups of up to 20 people at a cost of 70 euros per tour.
The church houses the prayer chair of Saint Lutgardis from 1200, connected to traditional prayers for fertility and childbirth.
