Château de Losange, 18th century castle in Villers-la-Bonne-Eau, Belgium.

The white limestone castle stands in the middle of the Ardennes forest, featuring traditional architectural elements and a surrounding 300-hectare park.

Originally constructed in 1529 near a pond, the current structure was built in the early 1700s by Herman de Trappé and renovated during the 1920s.

The castle gained national recognition as the childhood residence of Queen Mathilde of Belgium, who spent her youth in this noble estate.

While the castle interior remains private, visitors can observe the exterior architecture and explore the surrounding Ardennes forest landscape.

During World War II, the castle endured significant damage in the Battle of the Bulge but underwent complete restoration after the conflict.
