Bastogne Barracks

The Bastogne Barracks features a 2,350-square-meter exhibition hall displaying World War II military equipment, tanks, and artillery pieces from multiple nations.

During the Battle of the Bulge in December 1944, General McAuliffe established his headquarters at these barracks, where he issued his famous 'Nuts' response.

The museum preserves and displays one of the largest European collections of military vehicles from both Allied and Axis forces of World War II.

Visitors can explore the site at Rue de La-Roche 40 in Bastogne, with guided tours available by military history specialists and vehicle restoration experts.

The Mechanised Warfare gallery presents an extensive collection of tanks and vehicles from France, Germany, the USSR, and Great Britain from 1940 to 1945.
