Church of Our Lady across the river Dijle

The Church of Our Lady across the river Dijle features a tall tower with 49 bells and combines Brabantine Gothic with Baroque architectural elements.

The construction of this religious structure began in the fourteenth century, replacing the first parish church of Mechelen, and continued through the sixteenth century.
