Belgium Pier is a concrete walkway that extends approximately 350 meters into the North Sea from Blankenberge. The structure features railings that allow open views of the water and is designed with a simple, accessible layout.
The original pier was built in 1894 from cast iron as a symbol of progress. After it was destroyed by fire in 1914, a new concrete pier was completed in 1933 and remains standing today.
