Museum van het Belgisch Trekpaard

Philippe van Dixhoorn, a descendant of a stud farm family, founded the museum to preserve the heritage of this horse breed in Belgian agriculture. The museum documents how these animals shaped farming practices from the 1800s until modern times.

The museum sits at the start of the Brillant walking trail, a path of about 3.5 kilometers through the countryside. Along this route, visitors can watch living horses of the breed grazing in pastures and going about their daily lives.
