Museum van het Belgisch Trekpaard

The museum occupies the former town hall building, featuring exhibits with panels, touch screens, and historical film material in four languages.

Philippe van Dixhoorn, descendant of a stud farm family, established this institution to preserve the legacy of Belgian Draft Horses in agriculture.

The museum maintains the archives of the Royal Society of Belgian Draft Horses and presents the breed's evolution through extensive documentation.

Visitors can explore the museum from March through October, with regular Sunday openings from 13:30 to 17:00 and group tours available by reservation.

The museum connects to the Brillant walking trail, a 3.5-kilometer path where visitors observe Belgian Draft Horses grazing in their natural environment.
