Sint-Felixpakhuis, 19th century warehouse in Antwerp, Belgium
The Sint-Felixpakhuis spans seven floors with red brick walls arranged in Flemish bond pattern and features a glass-covered central passage connecting two streets.
Architect Felix Pauwels designed this storage facility in 1858 for the General Railway Equipment Company, with reconstruction occurring after a fire in 1861.
The municipal archives within the building contain documents recognized by UNESCO as part of the Memory of the World Register since 2009.
The renovated building functions as the city archives of Antwerp while providing meeting rooms, reception spaces, and a large auditorium for public events.
The warehouse incorporates a central glass-roofed passage supported by iron beams, which connects the Oudeleeuwenrui street to the Godefriduskaai.
