Plopsa Station Antwerp

Plopsa Station Antwerp is an entertainment complex spanning four levels within Antwerp Central Station, equipped with rides and attractions designed for children aged 2 to 12 years. The different areas feature themed decorations and offer various types of activities suited to different ages within that range.

The venue opened in April 2017 as part of the Plopsa entertainment group's expansion into urban entertainment centers across Belgium. This opening marked a new approach for the brand to place attractions within city centers and existing structures rather than operating traditional standalone parks.

The space features characters from Belgian entertainment brand Studio 100, including Bumba, Maya the Bee, and the Smurfs across different areas. These figures shape how locals and visitors experience the place and give it a familiar, family-oriented identity.

The venue sits directly inside the train station and is easy to reach on foot if arriving by train or exploring the city center. Secure lockers store personal belongings and multiple dining areas throughout the complex allow families to spend time without leaving the space.

The space functions as an active train station simultaneously, so visitors experience ongoing railway operations and departures while enjoying attractions. This blend of transit activity and entertainment creates an unusual setting found nowhere else in similar venues.
