Château de Ronchinne, 19th-century castle in Assesse, Belgium
The castle stands on the northern slope of the Crupet valley, surrounded by 42 hectares of landscaped grounds between the localities of Ivoy and Mont.
Built between 1884 and 1890 by architect Théodore Semaille for notary Charles-Joseph Logé, the castle later became the residence of Princess Clémentine of Belgium until 1945.
The estate's gardens were redesigned by Belgian landscape architect Jules Buyssens during Princess Clémentine's residency, incorporating formal garden elements and natural landscapes.
The castle now functions as a hotel with 81 rooms across different buildings, including the main castle structure and the Gardener's House.
The property features specialized accommodations such as the Loft Cube and elevated cabins, along with an outdoor wellness center containing heated pools and saunas.
