Church of St Demetrius, Medieval Orthodox church near Boboshevo, Bulgaria.
The church features a single nave structure with internal dimensions of 4.15 meters by 2.66 meters and a height of 5.50 meters.
Built after 1481 with frescoes added in 1488, the church belonged to the medieval monastery of St Demetrius established during the 10th century.
The interior walls display traditional frescoes depicting Christ, prophets, warrior saints, and biblical scenes in dark, saturated tones.
Located 4 kilometers from Boboshevo, the church contains a narthex added in 1864 with five arched windows and a northern entrance.
The original icons from 1729 are now stored in the crypt of Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Sofia for preservation.
