Belarusian National Technical University

Belarusian National Technical University is a polytechnic institution in Savyetski District, Minsk, Belarus. It comprises 16 faculties that train students in more than 130 technical fields.

The institution opened in 1920 as a polytechnic institute and adopted its current name in 2002. Over the decades it expanded its offerings and cemented its role as the leading technical school in the country.

Students attend classes in several buildings spread across the Savyetski district, where technical programs like mechanical engineering and computer science are taught. The campus hosts regular conferences where local industry partners present current projects to faculty and enrolled learners.

The institution received both the Order of the Red Banner of Labour and the Order of Labour Glory, state honors for its contribution to technical education. These two awards reflect the long tradition of the school within Soviet and Belarusian education systems.
