Voranava is an administrative center in Grodno Region that functions as the seat of local government and public services. The settlement serves as the hub for district administration and community governance in this area near the Lithuanian border.
The settlement was long part of regional principalities and Polish territories before coming under Russian control in 1795. It later became incorporated into the Belarusian Republic and remains a key administrative center today.
The Palace of Scipio del Campo from the 19th century, along with the Church of God's Mercy and a 20th-century synagogue, represent the architectural heritage.
