Kościół Nawiedzenia Najświętszej Maryi Panny w Trokielach

The Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary features white walls, tall windows, and ornate Baroque architectural elements throughout its exterior and interior design.

The original wooden church from 1500 burned three times, with the current stone structure built in 1809 through funding from local landowner Stefan Niezabytowski.

The church houses a revered icon of the Mother of God of Trokieli, brought from Vilnius by Jesuits in the late 16th century and crowned in 2009.

The religious complex includes three altars, with the main altar displaying the Mother of God of Trokieli icon, and a chapel-tomb of Brygida Szukiewicz nearby.

The icon within the church survived multiple fires throughout history, remaining undamaged despite the complete destruction of the buildings around it.
