The Academic Drama Theatre stands on Lenin Street with a grand entrance, featuring multiple performance halls for various theatrical productions and events.
Established on October 1, 1944, the theatre emerged after World War II as the Youth State Russian Drama Theatre of the Lenin Komsomol of Belarus.
The theatre presents classical plays, contemporary works, and adaptations of Belarusian literature through regular performances by its professional company.
The theatre building contains ticket offices, a main hall, rehearsal spaces, and technical facilities, remaining open throughout the performing arts season.
Since 1996, this venue has organized the International Festival of Theatre Art White Tower, the only theatrical festival of its scale in Belarus.
