Church of the Holy Trinity in Vidzy

The Church of the Holy Trinity stretches 61 meters into the sky with red brick walls and features characteristic Gothic Revival elements throughout its structure.

Built between 1909 and 1914 through community donations, the church survived two world wars and various repurposing attempts as a warehouse, granary, and gymnasium.

The interior preserves religious artifacts while two World War I shells remain embedded in its walls as historical markers of the conflicts it endured.

Located in the central square of Vidzy, the church maintains regular services and welcomes visitors who can also explore the surrounding 19th-century parish buildings.

The structure ranks among Belarus's tallest churches and stands as a testament to architect Wacław Michniewicz's interpretation of Gothic Revival design principles.
