CFS Saglek

CFS Saglek is a military radar station located on the northern coast of Labrador. The facility includes surveillance towers, communication buildings, and residential structures arranged to monitor airspace across a vast northern region.

The station was established in 1953 to support continental air defense during the Cold War. It became part of an integrated radar network that connected multiple installations across North America for coordinated monitoring.

The station represents the collaboration between Canadian and American military forces in developing North American defense capabilities during the twentieth century.
