Hatley Park National Historic Site, National historic site and university campus in Colwood, Canada

The 565-acre estate features a castle designed by Samuel Maclure, displaying Scottish Baronial architecture with three formal gardens and forest areas.

Built between 1906 and 1908 for the Dunsmuir family, the property later served as Royal Roads Military College from 1940 to 1995.

The estate includes Japanese, Italian, and rose gardens, designed by landscape architects Franklin Brett and George D. Hall in the 1900s.

Visitors can access the walking trails, gardens, and castle grounds throughout the year, with the main entrance located off Sooke Road.

The castle serves as a filming location for television and movies, appearing as Xavier's School in X-Men and Luthor Mansion in Smallville.
