Minto Metropole is a residential skyscraper in Westboro with 33 floors rising 108 meters (354 feet) high. The building houses 153 condominium units and features postmodern design with a slender vertical profile.

Construction began in 2003 when original plans for multiple waterfront towers were transformed into a single tall structure. This shift in direction reshaped how the building came to be designed and realized.

The name Metropole nods to Minto's own branding, and the tower's address on Island Park Drive places it among the early-20th-century boulevard's trees and low houses. Its 153 condominiums made it one of the largest single residential addresses in Westboro when it opened in 2004, and the ground-floor frontage along Richmond Road keeps it tied to the neighbourhood's shopping strip.

The location near Westboro Station offers convenient public transportation access for residents and visitors heading to the area. Walking around the neighborhood makes it easy to reach shops, restaurants, and the nearby riverfront.

Minto had originally planned several shorter towers along the Ottawa River waterfront, but nearby residents objected that the project would block their river views. The company then proposed one tall, slim tower instead, and Ottawa city council approved the rezoning needed for it.
