Parc du Mont-Comi is a ski resort in Saint-Donat with 29 runs spread across three mountain sides and a summit reaching 575 meters elevation. The terrain features a vertical drop of 306 meters and four chairlifts for accessing different runs.
Local promoters started planning in 1967 and acquired land to build the initial facilities. Operations began in January 1973 and have continued since then.
The place serves as a winter sports hub in the region, drawing snowboard enthusiasts each March for the Snowmission event. This gathering becomes a focal point for the local winter sports community in Eastern Quebec.
The resort offers equipment rentals for alpine skis and snowboards, along with heated shelters and changing facilities. Visitors can also find dining options to rest and refuel during their day on the slopes.
One of the most notable runs is Le Mur, a slope with a 35-degree angle that challenges experienced skiers. From the summit, visitors can look out over the Saint Lawrence River and spot ten church bell-towers dotting the landscape below.
