Donegana's Hotel, Former luxury hotel in Old Montreal, Canada

Located at Notre-Dame Street and Bonsecours Street intersection, this establishment extended across an entire block near Bonsecours Market.

The structure began as a private residence in 1821, later serving as the vice-regal residence for Governors General of Canada from 1837 to 1843.

The hotel emerged as the largest accommodation in British colonies, attracting international guests including the family of Confederate President Jefferson Davis.

The building included individual bathrooms for each apartment and maintained a dining room that served meals throughout the operating hours.

After destruction in the Montreal Riots of 1849, the rebuilt hotel operated until 1880 when it transformed into Hospital Notre-Dame.
