Dundarave Golf Course, Championship golf course in Cardigan, Prince Edward Island, Canada.
Dundarave Golf Course is a championship course in Cardigan, Prince Edward Island, stretching across approximately 7,300 yards (6,700 meters) and bordered by the Brudenell River. Pine trees frame the fairways while red sand bunkers are distributed throughout the layout.
The course opened in 1999, designed by architects Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry. It gained wider recognition after hosting the Legends of Golf tournament in 2006, which featured Jack Nicklaus.
The course reflects Prince Edward Island's natural landscape, with red sandstone visible throughout the property. This geological character shapes how the land looks and feels when you play.
The course operates from May through October with full amenities including a driving range and practice putting green. Golf carts and professional instruction are available on-site for players of all skill levels.
The red sand bunkers create a striking visual difference from typical gray and white bunkers found on most courses. This natural coloring comes from the local geology and makes the course instantly recognizable.
