Laurel Creek Conservation Area

Laurel Creek Conservation Area encompasses 4.5 kilometers of trails through hardwood and pine forests, connecting to regional pathways including the Walter Bean Grand River Trail.

The Grand River Conservation Authority established Laurel Creek as part of their network of protected natural spaces to preserve water resources and local ecosystems.

The conservation area serves as an educational center where visitors learn about local flora, fauna, and environmental conservation through interpretive programs.

The park maintains 114 campsites from May 1 to October 15, offering both serviced and unserviced options among wooded and open areas.

During winter months, the conservation area transforms into a Nordic sports destination with 8 kilometers of groomed trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
