Andre Felix National Park

Andre Felix National Park is a protected reserve in Vakaga Prefecture featuring expansive savanna forest and diverse plant life. The area is home to numerous animal species and plays an important role in regional conservation.

The reserve received official protection status in 1960 when the Central African Republic gained independence from France. This moment marked the beginning of organized conservation efforts in the country.
