Stade de Genève

Stade de Genève is a modern football stadium in Lancy offering seating for around 30,000 spectators and featuring a heated hybrid pitch. The facility has multiple levels with conference spaces and serves both domestic and international events.

The stadium was built between 2001 and 2003 as a modern home for Servette FC. It replaced an older facility and was equipped with contemporary infrastructure to support national and international football matches.

This ground serves as home to local football club Servette FC and regularly hosts matches for the Swiss national team. Visitors experience the local passion for football and see how the space brings together fans for important games.

The stadium sits near the Etoile park-and-ride transportation hub and connects easily to central Geneva by public transport. Visitors can reach the city center using tram lines 12 and 15 as well as bus line 4.

In January 2014, the stadium was briefly transformed into an ice hockey arena and hosted nearly 30,000 spectators for a top-league game. This conversion shows the flexibility and adaptability of the modern facility for different sports.
