The Stade de Genève features 30,084 seats, heated hybrid turf, and numerous conference spaces spread across multiple levels of the concrete structure.
Construction of the stadium began in 2001 and concluded in 2003, requiring an investment of 240 million Swiss francs for completion.
The stadium functions as the home ground for Servette FC and regularly hosts international football matches for the Swiss national team.
Located near the P+R Etoile transportation hub, the stadium connects to Geneva center through tram lines 12, 15 and bus line 4.
In January 2014, the stadium transformed into an ice hockey arena, hosting 29,400 spectators for a National League A Winter Classic game.
