Museum collection Am Römerholz

The Museum Collection Am Römerholz displays over 200 European paintings within a private villa and gallery building in Winterthur's Lind district.

Oskar Reinhart acquired the villa in 1924, added a gallery in 1925, and opened the collection to the public in 1958 to share European art with visitors.

The collection presents European paintings from the 14th to early 20th century, including works by Dürer, Van Gogh, Renoir, Manet, and Cézanne.

Visitors can explore the museum Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00, with extended hours until 20:00 on Wednesdays, and free entry during evening hours.

The museum combines a residential villa from 1915 with a purpose-built gallery, creating an integrated space for displaying the collection of European masterpieces.
