Villa Choisy with boathouse, island, old farm and fountain, Manor estate in Bursinel, Switzerland

The Villa Choisy estate spans 9 hectares, featuring a neoclassical mansion with geometric volumes, a farmhouse, and an artificial island in Lake Geneva.

Built between 1825 and 1828 for merchant Armand Delessert by architect Luigi Bagutti, the estate later hosted Winston Churchill for several weeks in 1946.

The villa's neoclassical architecture incorporates elements from ancient Greece and Italian Renaissance, including decorated ceilings, rich parquet floors, and marble statues.

The mansion contains separate circulation systems with a grand staircase for residents and hidden service stairs, designed to maintain discretion between owners and staff.

The property features one of Lake Geneva's few artificial islands, measuring 10 by 15 meters, constructed in 1930 at 70 meters from the shore.
