Chapfensee, lake at Mels, Canton of St. Gallen, Switzerland
Chapfensee is a small reservoir located above the town of Mels in the canton of St. Gallen at approximately 1,000 meters in elevation. The water covers about 9 hectares and is surrounded by green hills and moorland with low vegetation.
