Opening its doors in 2005, the museum preserves Switzerland's military history from 1792, including 130 army mobilizations and their effects on society.
The exhibition halls present detailed representations of Swiss military life through numerous figures, scenes, and artifacts spanning 250 years.
The museum remains closed for winter maintenance until April 5, 2025, though guided tours are available upon advance reservation.
The museum houses over 50 operational military vehicles and 21 tanks that document the diversity of Swiss automotive manufacturing.
