Preachers church

Predigerkirche is a church building combining Romanesque and Gothic elements, with a 96-meter tower that dominates the Old Town skyline. Its stone structure contains multiple naves and shows a clear spatial arrangement developed over centuries.

The building began in 1231 as part of a Dominican monastery and underwent major reconstruction in the 14th century, including the tower. These phases of change shaped the structure that stands today.

Inside sits an organ dating to around 1500 that has been updated multiple times over the centuries. This instrument shows how craftspeople maintained traditional techniques while adapting it for each new era.
