Meret Oppenheim Hochhaus

The Meret Oppenheim Hochhaus is a modern high-rise in Basel-Gundeldingen with mixed use that rises near the Basel SBB train station. The building contains residential units, office spaces, a restaurant, and extensive infrastructure for parking cars and bicycles.

Construction of this high-rise started in January 2016 and was completed in early 2019, marking an important milestone in the development of the Gundeldingen neighborhood. Completion coincided with growing interest in modern residential development near major transportation hubs.

Swiss Radio and Television operates from here as a creative hub where content is produced daily for multiple media formats. This presence has made the location an important center for media production in the region.
