Hasenbergturm AG, Observation tower in Widen, Switzerland.
The 40-meter wooden Hasenbergturm stands at 714 meters above sea level, offering views from Eastern Switzerland to the Bernese Alps.
The first tower at this location was constructed in 1904 by veterinarian Adolf Meier and remained standing until its demolition in 1956.
The current tower, built in 2021, represents the local commitment to providing public recreational spaces in the Aargau canton.
Visitors can climb 210 steps to reach the observation platform at 36 meters, where they can observe the Lägern mountain range and Mount Napf.
The construction utilized local spruce and fir wood materials, with a total investment of 1,100,000 Swiss francs for the project.
