Great Wall of Qi, Ancient rampart in China
The Great Wall of Qi is the oldest stone-built wall in China.
It was built between 685-656 BC during the reign of Duke Huan of Qi.
The wall played a significant role in protecting Qi from invasions.
Parts of the wall are well-preserved and accessible for hiking.
Unlike the more famous Great Wall, the Great Wall of Qi meanders through the Shandong countryside.
