The Presidential Palace in Nanjing is a large complex of buildings combining traditional Chinese architecture with western architectural features.
This palace has served as the office for many historical figures including the Ming Dynasty, Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, and the Republic of China.
Today, it's converted into the China Modern History Museum reflecting Chinese history, culture and architecture.
It is open to the public and attracts millions of visitors every year.
The Presidential Palace in Nanjing is one of the few places in China where you can see the fusion of Chinese and Western architecture.
