Yinqueshan Han Slips, Ancient texts in China
The Yinqueshan Han Slips are a collection of ancient Chinese texts written on bamboo slips.
The slips were discovered in tombs dating from the early Western Han dynasty around the 2nd century BCE.
They contain the earliest known reference to the Tao Te Ching and provide insight into early Chinese philosophy.
The site is located near Linyi City in Shandong Province, China.
This discovery includes the world's earliest military treatise comparable to Sun Tzu's Art of War.
