The National Museum of China, located on the eastern side of Tiananmen Square in Donghuamen Subdistrict, is one of the largest and most comprehensive museums in the world.
Incepted in 2003, it combines the former National Museum of Chinese History and the National Museum of Chinese Revolution.
The museum, reflecting both modern and ancient aspects of Chinese civilization, hosts various significant cultural relics.
Visitors can access important historical artifacts such as the Four Sheep Square Zun and Simuwu Ding.
Designed by German firm Gerkan, Marg and Partners, it's deemed a vice-ministerial level institution in China.
