Hoh Xil, Nature reserve in Qinghai, China
Hoh Xil is a nature reserve located in the northwestern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in China.
It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017.
The area is home to several Tibetan and Mongolian ethnic groups.
Due to its high altitude and harsh climate, it's largely uninhabited and difficult to access.
It's known for its population of Tibetan antelopes, which are a protected species.
