Beijing Television Cultural Center, designed by Rem Koolhaas and Ole Scheeren, is an iconic skyscraper in Beijing.
Construction of the building started in 2004 and was due to be completed by the 2008 Summer Olympics.
This center was intended to serve as a hub for Chinese culture and media.
After being damaged by a fire in 2009, the building's reconstruction was completed in May 2012.
Due to its striking design and dramatic history, the BTCC has become a compelling part of Beijing's landscape.
