The Longsheng Rice Terraces, also known as the Dragon's Backbone, is a breathtaking landscape in Longsheng County, about 100 kilometers from Guilin, Guangxi, China.
The Longsheng Rice Terraces were built over 650 years ago by the Zhuang people during the Yuan Dynasty.
The meandering terraces resemble a dragon's scales and are considered a testament to the wisdom and strength of the Zhuang people.
Due to its geographical position and climate, the best time to visit Longsheng Rice Terraces is between May and October.
Known for its spectacular scenery during different seasons - green seedlings in spring, watering in summer, golden rice in autumn, and silver frost in winter.
