Xiangtangshan Caves, Cave temples in China
The Xiangtangshan Caves are ancient Buddhist temple grottoes.
Carved between the 5th and 6th centuries during the Northern Qi dynasty.
They represent a high point in Chinese stone carving.
Listed as a Major Historical and Cultural Site Protected at the National Level in China.
The caves house massive statues which have been digitally reconstructed.
