Smiřice

Smiřice is a Baroque château near Hradec Králové featuring a notable chapel constructed between 1699 and 1711. The building stands out in the local landscape with its elegant architectural lines and classical Baroque proportions.

The site originally held a medieval fortress that underwent changes in the early 17th century. The Sternberg family transformed the property around 1700 when they added the Baroque chapel.
