Bad Lausick

Bad Lausick is a spa town in the Leipzig district of Saxony, situated about 29 kilometers southeast of Leipzig. It features specialized healthcare facilities focused on cardiac and circulatory treatments using its natural mineral springs.

The settlement first appeared in written records as Luzke in 1096 and gained town rights in 1605. It became a spa destination in 1913 following the discovery of therapeutic springs that changed its character.
