Zeitpyramide

The Time Pyramid measures 9.2 meters in height and 15 meters at its base, consisting of concrete blocks arranged in a stepped formation.

Construction of the Time Pyramid began in 1993 to commemorate the 1200th anniversary of Wemding, with one block added every ten years.

The Time Pyramid represents the passage of time through its construction schedule, which will continue until the year 3183 with 120 concrete blocks.

Located on Robertshöhe hill at the northern edge of Wemding, the Time Pyramid received its fourth concrete block, weighing 6.5 tonnes, in September 2023.

Each concrete block in the Time Pyramid weighs over 6 tons and measures approximately 4 feet by 4 feet at the base with 6 feet in height.
