Eibingen Abbey, Benedictine monastery in Rüdesheim am Rhein, Germany.

Located on a hill overlooking the Rhine Valley, this Romanesque Revival abbey features white stone walls, twin towers, and surrounding vineyards.

The monastery continues the legacy of the original Eibingen Abbey founded by Hildegard of Bingen in 1101, though the current structure dates from 1904.

The abbey maintains a library containing medieval manuscripts and hosts regular concerts featuring Gregorian chants and compositions by Hildegard of Bingen.

Visitors can purchase wines from the monastery vineyard, traditional herbal remedies, and handcrafted items at the abbey store from Monday through Saturday.

The resident nuns continue to produce original manuscripts using medieval techniques, including gold leaf illumination and traditional calligraphy methods.
