The Saint Peter and Paul Church extends 72 meters in length, features a 84-meter spire, and displays characteristic Gothic elements throughout its stone structure.
Founded in 1230, the current building construction started in 1425 under architect Conrad Pflüger and continued until 1497, incorporating parts of the original foundation.
The church interior contains numerous sandstone epitaphs, three wooden confessionals, and a white pulpit with gold decorations supported by full-size angel figures.
The church welcomes visitors Monday through Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00, and Sundays from 11:30 to 18:00, with reduced hours during January and February.
The Casparini organ from 1703 houses 6,095 pipes across 88 stops and includes decorative elements shaped like suns integrated into its architectural design.
