Saulheim is a municipality in the Alzey-Worms district in Rheinhessen, a wine region in southwestern Germany. The area comprises several villages with residential zones, fields, and vineyards that define the landscape.
The municipality was formed through the merger of smaller villages in the second half of the 20th century into a single administrative unit. This reorganization was part of a broader administrative reform in the Hesse region.
