Konstanz Synagogue, Religious center in Constance, Germany.
The synagogue incorporates Romanesque Revival architectural elements with a modern design, featuring horizontal striping along its narrow street facade.
Built in 1883, the original synagogue was destroyed in 1938, leading to a new structure inaugurated in 2019 at approximately 50 meters from the former location.
The building functions as an Einheitsgemeinde, combining Orthodox and Liberal congregations under one roof to serve the regional Jewish population.
The current synagogue building accommodates 300 members and includes a main sanctuary for Orthodox services plus a separate area for Liberal worship.
The construction of the new synagogue, completed in 2019, required 15 years of planning and an investment of 5 million euros from the Baden Regional Jewish Community.
