Frankfurt Germany Temple, Religious temple in Friedrichsdorf, Germany
The Frankfurt Germany Temple features white Bethel granite exterior walls and stands on a 20,000 square meter property with copper roofing.
The temple opened its doors in 1987 as the forty-first temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the second in Germany.
The temple serves members from multiple European cities including Dortmund, Hamburg, Munich, Paris, Vienna, Ljubljana, and Zagreb for religious ceremonies.
The temple contains four ordinance rooms, five sealing rooms, and provides clothing rentals for participants in religious ceremonies.
Over 70,000 visitors attended the public tours during a ten-day period before the temple dedication in August 1987.
