Wittelsbacher-Tower, Observation tower on Scheinberg hill in Bad Kissingen, Germany.
The stone structure rises 33 meters above the Franconian Saale valley, featuring an observation deck at 25 meters and a green sandstone lion sculpture.
The tower, inaugurated on September 15, 1907, was constructed at a cost of 27,000 German gold marks under the initiative of Dr. Wendelin Dietz.
The monument commemorates the House of Wittelsbach, with Prince Regent Luitpold of Bavaria attending its opening ceremony in the early 20th century.
Visitors can access the tower by obtaining a key from the adjacent adventure brewery, which also houses a restaurant for refreshments.
The structure combines Muschelkalk limestone construction with green sandstone elements and provides views 245 meters above the Franconian Saale valley.
